Astek Corporation Announces 6Gbps Gen2 SAS Host Bus Adapter for Apple Macintosh® Computers
Colorado Springs, CO (March 13, 2011)– Astek Corporation announces the a3806-pci SAS Host Bus Adapter add in card for Apple MacPro workstation users. The A3806-PCI is based upon the industry leading LSI™ Corporation (http://www.lsi.com/) 8-port LSISAS2008 controller, and supports 6Gbps Gen 2 Serial Attached SCSI, and Gen 2 PCI-Express technologies to ensure maximum performance for demanding storage applications.
The A3806-PCI is fully supported in OS X 10.5 and 10.6 for Intel based workstations.
