Astek’s A7202-PMC 2Gbit, PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) provides maximum performance and low latency Fibre Channel connections to alleviate the I/O bottleneck due to the demands of high-performance distributed applications and data-intensive environments. This adapter is well suited for data warehousing, full motion video and host attach for mass storage subsystems, and telecom applications. The dual channel, 2Gbit, PMC host adapter provides redundant configurations and high availability solutions for Storage Area Networks (SANs). The A7202-PMC can auto-negotiate down to 1Gbit operation to assure backward compatibility with existing 1 Gbit SAN infrastructure. The adapter family of products consists of optical fibre channel options and rear I/O capability.
