Astek has an entry level opening for a validation and systems engineer to support our board product design team. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years experience working with software, firmware and hardware design engineers either doing design and/or validation of mixed hardware/software systems, particularly systems utilizing embedded ARM processors. Candidates should have a Bachelors degree in a technical field (math/science/engineering) and must be able to have U.S. citizenship or valid authorization to work, Astek cannot at this time sponsor visa applicants. 

Additional job duties include:

• assembling and validating hardware prototypes,
  
• documenting validation and manufacturing test procedures,
• developing software applications for manufacturing test automation,
• developing software applications for validation test automation,
• maintaining existing software in perl and C, for manufacturing and validation testing,
• maintaining laboratory workstations (Linux, Windows and Solaris),
• opportunities will exist for additional duties in electronic design and systems R&D.
