Astek has an immedate position open for a High-Speed Electronic Test Engineer.
Astek has a position for a Test Engineer that will be responsible for developing test programs for high-speed electronic modules that have multiple die attached to a ceramic substrate. The candidate needs a minimum of 5 years of direct experience testing, characterizing and validating electronic assemblies with new silicon products. The ideal candidate will also have experience in developing test methodologies for electronic modules operating in the gigahertz speed ranges. The candidate needs a minimum BSEE degree and a proven track record of developing quality test programs for initial characterization, validation and production. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or have valid authorization to work in the USA. Astek cannot at this time sponsor visa applicants.
Additional job duties include:
- Strong programming and debug skills,
- High speed digital design,
- Ability to set priorities, work independent and achieve overall program goals,
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and work with a variety of technical professionals,
- Strong documentation skills,
- Broad knowledge of basic lab equipment (scopes, logic analyzers, etc) and excellent debug skills.
